Sophia is the Knowledge Mobilization Officer at MacDonald Franklin OSI Research Centre. Her work focuses on supporting effective knowledge exchange and the development of communication products to generate meaningful impact. Across her mobilization efforts is using media and collaborative meeting places to facilitate learning towards change.
Through both her own research, teaching practices and experience, she has focused on developing programming to support the development of transferable skills in science communication, impact-driven communication and facilitation leadership.
Sophia holds a Master of Arts in Education & Society at McGill University, and a Bachelor of Knowledge Integration from the University of Waterloo.
