William (Liam) Younger
Research Assistant
Liam has worked with MacDonald Franklin OSI Research and Innovation Centre since December 2022. Holding a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Acadia University, where he majored in Psychology and Biology, he is currently pursuing a Masters in Psychotherapy at McMaster University. Liam has a keen interest in a variety of topics within clinical psychology and neuroscience, and is dedicated to advancing our understanding and the effective application of innovative therapeutic approaches for trauma-related, mood, and concurrent disorders. Liam is particularly interested in the use of ACT both overall and for treating moral injury, as well as the domain of psychedelic-assisted therapies, especially psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy. Beyond his academic pursuits, Liam finds joy in hiking, cooking, disc golf, and music production.
